The company QMilk (Spelled in German as Qmilch) developed a bopolymer consisting of the milk protein casein. 1.7 Million tons of milk is disposed of annually because it is no longer good for digestion. However, there are valuable components within the content that can be extracted and, in turn, create a completely different purpose for milk. This product will revolutionize the dairy market.
QMilk offers a wide range of cross-sections for versatile applications in apparel, home textiles, and technical textiles.
It is softer than cotton. Has a silky feel, is antibacterial naturally, can take color very well, natural UV protection, reaches a class B2 in fire protection according to DIN 4102-1 and DIN 75200 and can therefore be in home textiles and in the automotive industry.

Finally, the product is fully compostable, from cradle to cradle.
