With successful interior applications products like Lightben acustic, Hexaben, Starlight and Ecoben wave, designers are able to develop beautiful and durable panels, that look natural and different. Using Ecoben wave as an example, the lightweight rigid sandwich composite panel utilizes a ‘honeycomb-like’ kraft paper as the central core. Its bonded with Polycarbonate (PC), acrylic (PMMA) or PET-G outer sheets. The sinusoidal wave structure separated by horizontal pieces of flat paper that are orthogonal to the plastic faces creating a dimensionally stable panel. Standard panel sizes are 3015 x 1000 mm (118.7 x 39.4 in) and ranges from 34 – 56 mm (1.3 – 2.2 in) in thickness. The outer panels are only available in a clear finish. Applications are for event display (trade show booths, floors), store design, furniture and commercial and residential interiors.
